Hireway

The decision

Interview the user and write in their voice, instead of generating a resume and hoping it does not read as generated.

Problem

Hireway is a fork of Reactive Resume. A resume generated without an interview reads as generated.

What I did

The builder and the tracker come from the fork. My parts are the rest. The Scout reads job boards and career pages, keeps the roles that fit the user’s rules, and drafts applications the user approves.

The interview step asks the user about their work and writes the resume in their own voice. I also built the browser extension and improved the MCP server and the agent skills.

Result

A hosted job-search agent at hireway.dev, with public docs at docs.hireway.dev. About a month of work in 2026. The code is closed.
